News from Eva Hornung, Wildu Mandaawi Morgans: “It has been a<br />
very hectic couple of months. Foaling was one drama after another, but<br />
an end result of three gorgeous foals, and three healthy mares. Wildu<br />
Wayfarer (MEMC Tequila Cuervo x Blue Gum Bonneville), our giant<br />
surprise, was sold at birth to Deb Thompson. This is a heartwarming<br />
pairing: he is as if made for her. Bonne is in foal again for another of this<br />
cross. Wildu Marlena (Mt Tawonga King x Fernleigh Creek Nena) is so<br />
good, it will be hard to part with her, but she is half sister to my stallion<br />
and full sister to Maddie (Fernleigh Creek Madralena).<br />
Fernleigh Creek Antares learned how to be collected and how to be a<br />
gentleman while breeding. He had a busy Spring, and I am really proud<br />
of him. I love him, enjoy working with him, and am hopeful about his<br />
future. He has bonded very closely with me. He also rather likes my vet<br />
now, since she turns up with the AV now and then.<br />
