Basketball, Boys’<br />
“<strong>Evanston</strong> Boys’ Basketball Grade/Middle <strong>School</strong> Camp”<br />
The emphasis of the camp is on learning team concepts along with individual skill development.<br />
Campers will develop shooting, ball handling, passing, rebounding and offensive movement skills<br />
in a variety of games and drills. Daily agenda includes competitive games, contests, skill development<br />
and awards within each age division. Each camper receives a camp T-shirt, as well as competition<br />
in: ball handling contests, shooting drills, hot shot contests, knock-out games, one-on-one tournaments,<br />
three-on-three games and five-on-five league and tournament games. Enjoyable and fun opportunities<br />
are included to improve basketball and leadership development.<br />

“Grade/Middle <strong>School</strong> Individual Skill Development Camp”<br />
This camp focuses on the basic skills of shooting, dribbling, passing and footwork development.<br />
Acquiring a sound mastery of the fundamentals will allow you to take your game to a higher level.<br />
The emphasis of this camp will be: 1) to give each camper the opportunity to master the basic<br />
fundamental basketball skills, 2) to give the camper the opportunity in one-on-one and small group<br />
instruction to apply those skills, 3) to use scrimmages to apply fundamental development to game-like<br />
situations. Each camper receives a camp T-shirt and instruction in Team Concept/Attitude, Motivation<br />
and Goal Setting, Shooting Instruction, Setting/Receiving Screens, Ball Handling/Passing, Guard<br />
and Post Play and Team Play. Camp is on M-Th except week of July 1 when camp is M-W.<br />

“ETHS Boys’ Basketball Summer Training Program”<br />
This program offers 1) individual skill training and development, 2) strength and agility training,<br />
3) open gym game play, and 4) summer league/summer shootouts/team camp experiences. These<br />
activities are led under the direction of the Freshman, Sophomore and Varsity ETHS coaching staff.<br />
Our coaching staff strongly encourages your participation in the complete summer program. Costs<br />
for summer league play, shootouts, and team camps are included, however selection for total number<br />
of events is at the discretion of the ETHS coaching staff.<br />
