Cross Country, Girls’<br />
“Girls’ Cross Country & Distance Running Camp”<br />
Cross Country is one of the most popular sports for high school girls. Through cross country, girls<br />
learn about goal setting, fitness and training, nutrition, racing, and what it means to be a part of a<br />
team. Come join the ETHS Girls Cross Country coaching staff for a fun week of learning and training.<br />
Participants should arrive ready to run with running shoes, appropriate running apparel, and a water<br />
bottle. The camp includes registration fee for the YMCA Race Against Hate 5K on Sunday, June 16.<br />

Fencing<br />
“Fencing – Introduction to Advanced”<br />
All levels welcome. The coaches will introduce new athletes to the basics and fundamentals of<br />
the sport while those with more experience will receive advanced training in timing, distance and<br />
choice/reaction drills. Coaches will place an emphasis on technique and building proper form as the<br />
basis of all Fencing actions. Conditioning, sports nutrition, and goal-setting and tracking will also<br />
be covered. Equipment will be provided on a need-basis for those without prior experience. Please<br />
let the Coaches know prior to registration.<br />

Football<br />
“<strong>Evanston</strong> Wildkit Football Mini-Camp” (all levels)<br />
Our objective is to improve the overall athletic performance of each athlete: POWER, SPEED,<br />
AGILITY, BALANCE, EXPLOSION, QUICKNESS, FLEXIBITY, PLYOMETRICS, and<br />
STRENGTH TRAINING. The skills, techniques and programs provided will assist each athlete in<br />
the discovery of athletic strengths and weaknesses, and focus on concepts for development and<br />
improvement. All exercises will be defined, discussed, and demonstrated. NOTE: The last 90 minutes<br />
of each session will focus on football related skills. *Individual Techniques and Drills * Team<br />
Competition: 7 on 7 and Lineman Challenge *Combo Sessions; OL vs. DL, LB vs. RB, QB/WR vs. DB<br />

“<strong>Evanston</strong> Youth Football Skills Camp” (non-contact)<br />
This camp offers future Wildkits an opportunity to receive outstanding instruction in the game<br />
of football. Overall fundamentals are stressed through drills and games. This camp provides an<br />
introduction to the tradition of <strong>Evanston</strong> football.<br />
