Direct Current Soccorgroup<br />

The BEGHELLI SCCSA SoccorGroup is a Maintained<br />

(DC) emergency power supply that in the event of a<br />

mains failure will provide up to 5KW for 3 hours duration<br />

in 24, 48 or 110V DC.<br />

When mains is present and in tolerance, the power<br />

supply will maintain the battery charge via a two rate<br />

constant voltage charger with current limit.<br />

The load is connected in parallel with the battery to<br />

the rectified incoming supply<br />

In the event of a mains failure, the load is fed directly<br />

from the battery without any interruption in supply.<br />

The battery is protected from over discharge by deep<br />

discharge protection isolator. Soccorgroups are<br />

equipped with an AUTOTEST capability where the<br />

built-in microprocessor will periodically perform functional<br />

and duration tests. An RS232 serial port also<br />

allows the central system to be connected to a PC for<br />

remote control and monitoring.<br />
