The BEGHELLI SCCSA SoccorGroup is a Maintained
(DC) emergency power supply that in the event of a
mains failure will provide up to 5KW for 3 hours duration
in 24, 48 or 110V DC.
When mains is present and in tolerance, the power
supply will maintain the battery charge via a two rate
constant voltage charger with current limit.
The load is connected in parallel with the battery to
the rectified incoming supply
In the event of a mains failure, the load is fed directly
from the battery without any interruption in supply.
The battery is protected from over discharge by deep
discharge protection isolator. Soccorgroups are
equipped with an AUTOTEST capability where the
built-in microprocessor will periodically perform functional
and duration tests. An RS232 serial port also
allows the central system to be connected to a PC for
remote control and monitoring.

gas detection systems, burglar alarms, etc.)
- generally for any direct current load that does
not allow for interruptions in the power supply
