The BEGHELLI SCCSE<br />
/SA SoccorGroup is a<br />
low power DC power<br />
supply with a regulated<br />
output and changeover<br />
device.<br />
The system has two<br />
outputs, a maintained<br />
(SA) output which is<br />
connected in parallel<br />
with the battery and a<br />
non-maintained output.<br />
When mains is present and in tolerance, the power<br />
supply will maintain the battery charge via a two rate<br />
constant voltage charger with current limit.<br />
The load is connected in parallel with the battery to<br />
the rectified incoming supply In the event of a mains<br />
failure, the changeover device transfers the maintained<br />
load to the battery and picks up the nonmaintained<br />
load within 500ms.<br />
Both outputs (M & NM) are sized for the full rating of<br />
the system. The battery is protected from over discharge<br />
by deep discharge protection isolator.<br />
Soccorgroups are equipped with an AUTOTEST<br />
capability where the built-in microprocessor will periodically<br />
performfunctional and duration tests. An<br />
RS232 serial port also allows the central system to<br />
be connected to a PC for remote control and monitoring.<br />
