The Beghelli Central System (CTS) consists of a centralised<br />

battery emergency lighting system with automatic test<br />

diagnostics.<br />

The CTS performs the following functions :<br />

. operating and full duration testing on the central battery<br />

. operational testing of the luminaires<br />

. centralised system control<br />

The CTS can control up to 1024 luminaires and up to 10 central<br />

batteries with AC output (SCASE/SA Soccor Group).<br />

Depending on the type of connection, all Beghelli equipment<br />

designed for The CTS can perform the Non Maintained (SA) or<br />

Maintained (SE) function on the same wiring.<br />

The CTS can also be programmed to operate in the emergency<br />

mode for 1 or 3 hours. CTS can also manage mains lighting<br />

units in emergency mode. An interface booster must be installed<br />

every 64 units, to amplify the data signals.<br />

Additionally by a mains-present sensor , the interface booster<br />

allows restricted-zone activation of the emergency system,<br />

therefore an interface is recommended for any main floor board.<br />

The system performs also a control/protection function of the<br />

safety circuits linking the units to the central groups.<br />
