28 & 29 in Cave Creek!

March 21. The Kick-off Celebration
starts with the Historic Parade in Town
at 9am, followed by the popular Kid’s
Mutton Bustin’ at 2pm, hosted by the
Buffalo Chip Saloon. The Fiesta Days
Kick-off activities will offer a full day
of fun for all ages in the Town of Cave
Creek. For the 21 and over crowd, the
CCFDR Official Kick-off Dance sponsored
by the Buffalo Chip Saloon, will start at
7pm on Saturday night, March 21.
“Fiesta Days is growing every year and
we just have so much going on in one
weekend. Our Parade Chairperson,
Robbie Hall, made the suggestion to
move the Parade to the weekend before
and everything clicked. The concept of
a Kick-off Celebration developed from
there, a new tradition was born,” said
Casale, “and it’s a good one!”
Midweek, the 5th Annual Fiesta Days
Dan Lebsock Memorial Golf Tournament
and Fundraiser takes place on
Wednesday, March 25 at the Dove Valley
Ranch Golf Club. Dinner and awards
follow at Harold’s Corral in Cave Creek.
The festivities continue throughout
rodeo weekend at the Cave Creek
Memorial Arena, 24th Street and
Carefree Highway, with three full PRCA
rodeo performances featuring topranking
Professional Rodeo Cowboy
Association (PRCA) and Women’s
Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA)
contestants. Rodeo fans can see many
of the contestants that make the Finals
competing during Fiesta Days.
Friday night’s 7:30pm performance is
“Pink Night” in support of the fight
against cancer. Saturday night’s 7:30pm
performance will be followed by a Rodeo
Dance sponsored by Harold’s Corral in
Cave Creek. Sunday’s 2pm performance
is Wrangler National Patriot Day in
support of American military veterans
and their families.
