Role<br />
Responsibility<br />
Supervise clearing works and ensure impacts on flora and fauna are<br />
minimised to the greatest extent practical, in accordance with<br />
commitments, guidelines and mitigation measures outlined in this<br />
<strong>Ecological</strong> <strong>Management</strong> <strong>Plan</strong>, as amended.<br />
Liaise with Queensland Parks and Wildlife about suitable relocation<br />
sites <strong>for</strong> fauna on Curtis Island<br />
Obtain necessary approvals <strong>for</strong> fauna handling<br />
Provide advice to the EPC Contractor/Proponent during<br />
environmental incidents<br />
Other Contractors/ Sub-contractors<br />
Ensure all specifications are met in accordance with the lead<br />
contractor‘s or Proponent‘s guidelines/work requirements/legal<br />
obligations as outlined in this <strong>Ecological</strong> <strong>Management</strong> <strong>Plan</strong>.<br />
7.2 Key Actions and Timing<br />
Key actions, timing and division of responsibility during preclearing activities (i.e. activities prior to tree<br />
felling/vegetation clearing and grubbing) are highlighted in the tables below.<br />

standards, licensing conditions and procedures detailed<br />
in applicable <strong>Management</strong> <strong>Plan</strong>s<br />
<strong>QGC</strong> Site HSSE Manager to interface with Bechtel Site<br />
Manager on a daily basis and provide a weekly report to<br />
the <strong>QGC</strong> Environmental Manager (important issues to be<br />
relayed immediately).<br />
