7.3 Resources
Ecologists are likely to require the following equipment during preclearing and clearing activities:
personal protective equipment (to be provided/funded by QGC where necessary);
crow bar or similar for rolling/breaking logs;
tree marking spray paint and bright flagging tape; and
hessian sacks, butcher hooks, leather gloves, blankets, transport boxes for rescue, cotton bags.
The appointed ecologists are to procure all necessary equipment required for the undertaking of their tasks.
A designated area for a temporary fauna housing facility will be required to house injured fauna or those
requiring collection/release. This will be established by the EPC Contractor, in consultation with an
ecologist.
