It's the annual 5K @ Courtwood in County Laois,<br />

June from the local GAA grounds. The event will<br />

<strong>of</strong>fer a lovely scenic walk or run over 5K along a<br />

beautiful canal side route. All times will be<br />

recorded & posted on our Facebook page within<br />

The weekend festival will have a Rio<br />

COLAISTE IOSAGAIN 5K<br />

Annual Coláiste Íosagáin 5k will take place<br />

on Fri. 10 th May. All members <strong>of</strong> the<br />

community are welcome to participate in this<br />

great fun run. In particular volunteers would<br />

be very welcome to help with the stewarding<br />

on the course route, finish line and water<br />

EMO G.A.A.<br />

Official Opening<br />

<strong>Emo</strong> GAA are pleased to announce the<br />

<strong>of</strong>ficial Opening <strong>of</strong> the new pitch in <strong>Emo</strong>.<br />

It will take place on Friday 17 th May at<br />

6.15pm followed by a BBQ & light<br />

entertainment. Laois Senior Footballers will<br />

then take on Cork in a challenge game on<br />

the new pitch at 7.30pm, & there will also be<br />

half time matches from the local St. Paul’s<br />

Juvenile Boys and Girls teams. The Club<br />

would like to invite past and present<br />

members <strong>of</strong> our club, as well as extending<br />

the invitation to all communities to come and<br />

join in our celebrations.<br />

Table Quiz<br />

Table Quiz will take place in the Gate<br />

House, <strong>Emo</strong> in aid <strong>of</strong> <strong>Emo</strong> GAA Players<br />

Training Fund. Date: Saturday May the 11 th<br />

at 9.30pm. Table <strong>of</strong> four €40.00. Raffle on<br />
