APAMSA<br />
APAMSA (Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association) is<br />
part <strong>of</strong> a national organization dedicated to the addressing<br />
issues important to Asian-American Students and the Asian<br />
medical community in America. So far this year we have held<br />
events such as:<br />
– Flu vaccinations in Chinatown for over 200 people.<br />
– Cafe Shanghai: Conversations in Medical Chinese.<br />
– Social Events such as Movie Nights and Lunar New Year celebrations.<br />
In addition we are working on teaming up<br />
with the undergraduate organization,<br />
Team HBV to provide Hepatitis B<br />
screenings and patient navigation<br />
programs to the Asian population in<br />
<strong>Chicago</strong>.<br />
