Novelist, columnist & head monologue writer for 17 years for the Late Show with David Letterman, Bill Scheft made us
laugh with his earlier novel, Time Won’t Let Me, a finalist for the 2006 Thurber Prize for American Humor. His newest work,
Everything Hurts, is the tale of a “self-help fraud”, Phil Camp, who has accidentally achieved international acclaim writing under
guru, Dr. Samuel Abrun who tells him his pain is all psychosomatic. Of the book, author Richard Russo, says “How rare it is
for a novel to be both hilarious & profoundly moving”.
