of Family Law (entirely at the expense of the Chief Justice)
USA– to preside over meetings of th e AFCC Executive
Committee and seminars of Custody Evaluation and Parent
Education (entirely at the expense of the Chief Justice)
USA– to preside over meetings of the Board of the National
Council of Family and Juvenile Judges, meetings at Hofstra
University Ne w York, meetings with the Chief Justice of the
Family Division of Massachusetts Superior Court and family
lawyers and other professionals and to preside over th e AFCC
Executive Committee meeting (airfares only – all other travel and
expenses met by the Chief Justice or th e AFCC)
USA, Holland, London – t o ABAConference on Unified Family
Courts; to preside over 35t h Annual Conference of th e AFCC; to
attend the seminar for judges on the International Protection of
Children conducted by the Hague Conference on Private
International Law and to visit London for discussions with the
Lord Chancello r, the President of the Family Division of the High
Court and other English judges and lawyers (airfares onl y, all
other travel and expenses met either by the conference o rganisers
or the Chief Justice)
All travel by the Chief Justice was carried out during periods of
leave and long leave.
