Technology from hell!<br />
Thanks to its DuraSkin anti-tear fabric, the Grand Prix<br />
4-Season holds up under extreme conditions. In the Paris-<br />
Roubaix race, the “Hell of the North”, cyclists equipped with<br />
DuraSkin enhanced tyres have the fewest tyre related<br />
problems during the race. Incorporating our special wear<br />
resistant carbon compound, the tyre is characterized by very<br />
good mileage performance as well as excellent adhesion on<br />
wet roads and at low temperatures. With the 23 mm, 25 mm<br />
and 28 mm versions, the Grand Prix 4-Season makes it<br />
possible to select the right tyre for various road qualities and<br />
comfort requirements. A double Vectran Breaker belt under<br />
the tread raises the puncture and cut protection to the highest<br />
level available on the market. “The <strong>Continental</strong> GP 4-Season<br />
is the standard: full score in all categories! The tyre is<br />
lightweight and rolls well. It achieved by far the best result in<br />
offering fantastic grip and puncture protection, even in the<br />

Fulfilling the legacy!<br />
The <strong>Continental</strong> Grand Prix tyre is ingrained in cycle racing<br />
history. In the late eighties, it heralded the triumphant entry of<br />
the modern racing bike ‘clincher’ and is today a synonym<br />
for quality and performance. This latest incarnation shines<br />
thanks to a PolyX Breaker layer in the casing and a BlackChili<br />
Compound with an impressive combination of puncture<br />
protection, easy running, durability and grip. The modern profile<br />
design and the TWI (wear indicator) round off the performance.<br />

It is not only visually that the authentic design of the Grand<br />
Prix Classic upgrades any retro race bike, or modern for that<br />
matter! It’s what’s inside that also counts, after all this new<br />
addition to the <strong>Continental</strong> range, with its brown sidewalls and<br />
Conti Sport tread profile from 1982, is actually based on the<br />
current Grand Prix tyre. Thanks to a PolyX Breaker, highly<br />
stable and fine 180 TPI nylon carcass and the legendary<br />
BlackChili Compound, it presents itself technically as a<br />
state-of-the-art racing tyre. The contemporary dimensions<br />
25-622, a folding bead – Handmade in Germany – guarantee<br />

The roller tyre.<br />
With a modern roller and a turbo trainer in the house, winter<br />
can set in when it wants to. Thanks to its special cold-running<br />
compound, the Hometrainer doesn’t experience the heat<br />
buildup of a road tyre, nor does it suffer the tread separation<br />
that the road tyre is prone to under the special loads that<br />
occur when cycling and braking on the roller’s revolving<br />
drums. New for <strong>2013</strong>, a more supple casing for an even longer<br />
lifespan.<br />
