Welcome to the mud!
In muddy MTB cross-country races, the Mountain King has
already made a name and is now the mud specialist in the
cyclocross segment. Thanks to its deep profile, the Mountain
King digs deep into the sturdier ground beneath any soft
mud. The large studs also roll pretty well on harder ground.
The shoulder lugs are intentionally separated from the centre
lugs so that they can cut deep into the ground in cornering
and off-camber terrain. BlackChili Compound offers
outstanding grip with good self-cleaning. Feedback from
testers: ‘Like riding on a track’.
The all-around genius for Cyclocross.
The first Cyclocross tubular tyres with BlackChili Compound,
built and sewn by hand in the Korbach tubular manufacturing
plant. The profile is derived from the all-around X-King MTB
tyre. The alternating mid stubs roll cleanly especially on harder
surfaces like compacted dry mud, pathways and tarmac
sections; its raised outer stubs bite into every surface when
cornering. The supple carcass deforms easily around surface
edges meaning outstanding grip as the tyre grabs to any
terrain it can thanks to this enhanced contact area. BlackChili
Compound with its outstanding wet gripping properties
makes the tyre an all-around weapon in the sport of
cyclocross.

The XKing for Cyclo-X.
After a successful start on the mountain bike scene, the
XKing now also stirs excitement at cyclocross events. The
powerful allrounder convinces by its quiet running, fast and
at the same time extremely grippy profile. Thanks to a
smooth 180 TPI nylon carcass and the latest BlackChili
Compound the 32 mm wide folding tyre guarantees an
outstanding performance on all sorts of surfaces. Ideal for
competition and training – and not wider than allowed by the
UCI! Made in Germany – of course!

The CX racing clincher.
The Cyclocross race makes its case with a voluminous
35 mm carcass and has a racer’s heart beat. It promises the
convenience of riding tubulars without having to deal with
the cumbersome cement. Even at low air pressure, perfect
balance between grip, comfort and low rolling resistance is
provided.
For hard and frozen ground.
The Cyclocross Speed is the first choice on a pure cross bike
thanks to a diamond-coated centre section and coarse studs
in the shoulder lugs.
