JOHN CURTIN WEEKEND 2009 - Unilife

Gingin 2nd - 4th October
One hour north of Perth lies the country town of Gingin, home to the
“Gravity Discovery Centre” & the infamous “Leaning Tower of Gingin”.
Twenty lucky volunteers were involved in a diverse range of activities,
including working reconstructing galleries, painting walls, cleaning the walk
trails which surround the centre & cleared & revitalised the Western Power
pendulum site. The volunteers enjoyed two fun-filled nights at the centre,
watching movies on the big screen & had a chance to stargaze.
Feedback from the site: The Gravity Discovery Centre would sincerely like
to thank the 20 volunteers who travelled to Gingin to complete tasks over the
weekend. The volunteers were enthusiastic, diligent & a credit to Curtin.
