Outcomes <strong>of</strong> this EDUCATION<br />
1. Students shall have understanding <strong>of</strong> geography as a subject so that they become<br />
pr<strong>of</strong>essionals and have the capability to adapt to any challenge that may be <strong>of</strong>fered<br />
within their careers.<br />
2. Student shall be able to work in environmental based organizations e.g. EPA, that<br />
deal with the results <strong>of</strong> man-environment interaction and methodologies to combat<br />
them.<br />
3. Students shall be able to become efficient map interpreters.<br />
4. Students shall be able to apply quantitative techniques in geography and be able to<br />
draw conclusions.<br />
5. Students shall have a solid understanding <strong>of</strong> Pakistan’s geographical landscape and<br />
economic conditions, and thus will be able to serve in institutions like, Statistical<br />
Bureau, Dept. <strong>of</strong> Demography etc.<br />
6. Students shall be able to understand the conceptual framework <strong>of</strong> spatial and<br />
attribute data models, and per<strong>for</strong>m complex analysis and presenting the results using<br />
Arc GIS and other advanced s<strong>of</strong>tware’s.<br />
7. Students shall be able to achieve educational standards, precisely writing and<br />
presentation skills.<br />
