Pharmacy<br />
Outcomes <strong>of</strong> this EDUCATION<br />
(1) Work in Pharma industry, hospital pharmacy, retail pharmacy, government <strong>of</strong>fices including drug control administration and<br />
any other pharmacy related field.<br />
(2) To encourage scientific research as a necessary component <strong>of</strong> education with special emphasis on exploration <strong>of</strong> medicinal<br />
plants <strong>of</strong> Pakistan.<br />
(3) To provide female leadership and innovation in drug delivery system, pharmaceutical care and practice <strong>of</strong> pharmacy in the<br />
interest <strong>of</strong> Pakistan.<br />
(4) To establish drug in<strong>for</strong>mation center <strong>for</strong> the benefit <strong>of</strong> students & general public.<br />
Practical TRAINING<br />
The education in pharmacy has no meaning without exposure <strong>of</strong> the students to the working conditions in the field. The practical<br />
training is an integral part <strong>of</strong> pharmacy education at LCWU. The students do internship at Retail Pharmacy, Hospitals, Pharmaceutical<br />
Industry and Community. The Government <strong>of</strong> Punjab has attached two prestigious institutions with Department <strong>of</strong> Pharmacy <strong>for</strong> carrying<br />
out apprenticeship and residency program.<br />

Department <strong>of</strong> Pharmacy is the pioneer in starting Residency Program in Collaboration with Children Hospital Complex, <strong>Lahore</strong>.<br />

Eligibility CRITERIA<br />
• F.Sc Pre – Medical group with<br />
minimum 60% marks, and ‘A’<br />
level students with Pre – Medical<br />
