Risks involved in w<strong>or</strong>king with certain target groups<br />

1. Divide the group in<strong>to</strong> smaller groups f<strong>or</strong> the following group <strong>activity</strong>.<br />

2. Ask them in their group <strong>to</strong> discuss the difficulties when you w<strong>or</strong>k with<br />

certain people in your target group. In the Sisonke s<strong>to</strong>ry we saw that they<br />

identified the clinic sisters as a possible problem group because they did not<br />

w<strong>an</strong>t the clinic <strong>to</strong> stay open later on a Friday, because they used this time<br />

f<strong>or</strong> their administration. Look at your own target groups <strong>an</strong>d see if there are<br />

<strong>an</strong>y groups that may cause difficulties.<br />

3. Make a list of the problems <strong>or</strong> risks that may happen <strong>an</strong>d discuss ways that<br />

you could overcome them.<br />
