Current Drug Delivery Journals
Dr K. Gowthamarajan was also invited to deliver a talk on
‘Herbal Dissolution’ in National Seminar on ‘Current Trends
and Recent Advancements on Herbal Formulations’. The
event was sponsored by Department of Ayurveda, Yoga &
Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha & Homoeopathy, Ministry of
Health & Family Welfare, Government India, New Delhi, in
February 2012.

Approaches for Drug Discovery’ at JSS College of Pharmacy,
Ooty, in March 2012.

their presentation on ‘Synthesis, Characterization and
Anticancer Screening of Some Novel 1,3,4- Thiadiazole
Derivatives’
• Mr.Niroj Shrestha, M.Pharm student of Pharmacology
Department, for the presentation titled ‘Evaluation
of Verapamil and Diltiazem for Mitochondrial Calcium in
Complex 1 Alteration in 6- OHDA Lesioned Rat Model’.
Ms. Deepa Pathak, Research Scholar ,Pharmaceutics
department received best poster award for the research
paper entitled ‘Cost Effective Herbal Based PKC-BII
Receptor Targeting Nano Gel for Management of Diabetic’
in the International Conference on Recent Advances in
Pharmaceutical Sciences in March 2012 at Punjab. She also
won 1st prize for her research paper, ‘Nonogel: A promising
tool for diabetic Retinopathy’ in the 4th International
Conference on Drug Discovery & Therapy held in February
2012, at Dubai ,UAE.
Ms. S. Neelima, M. Pharm, Regulatory Affairs department,
received Best Poster Award for the research paper
‘Authorized Generics-A Boon or A Bane to Pharma Industry’,
