Patent titled ‘Herbal Antiseptic Soap’ with patent number<br />
129/CHE -2009 from the department of Pharmacognosy<br />
was published in Indian patent Journal in March 2012.<br />

MINDS Newsletter<br />
Minds is a free monthly newsletter on Psychiatry for Medical<br />
Students and Doctors, and the Editor invites articles from<br />
consultants from different specialties, on interface between<br />
their speciality and psychiatry. Postgraduates, Interns and<br />
Students can send us MCQs and Crosswords on Psychiatry.<br />

MANASU Newsletter<br />
The Department of Psychiatry, which is committed to patient<br />
care plans to start an innovative patient awareness leaflet<br />
in Kannada called ‘MANASU’ to be published once every<br />
two months. The 2-page leaflet will have one page dedicated<br />
to creating awareness about common psychiatric disorders<br />
and the other will be about human values that contribute to<br />
the well-being of the mind. Dr M. Kishore, will be the editor<br />
of this Newsletter. We welcome contributions of articles<br />
from teaching and non -teaching faculty as well as students.<br />
The articles should be typed in Kannada and e-mailed to<br />
