Record Breaking Swim Carnival<br />
Each year the CBCC swimming carnival is held at the start of the year to<br />
enable all new students to have the opportunity to compete and perhaps<br />
go to the District competition.<br />
The weather was perfect (as opposed to the next day which was wet and<br />
drizzly). This year many records were broken whilst others were<br />
absolutely shattered. These were:<br />

Medley<br />
13 year old Alicia Gaudry<br />
On the day Peter and Lyn Barnard and Tony Thompson combined forces<br />
to provide a sausage sizzle. $106.50 was raised and all proceeds went<br />
to the flood relief appeal. We would like to thank all of the parents who<br />
came along, the staff who worked tirelessly (assisted by many of our<br />
fantastic parents) and the students who applied themselves so well.<br />
Some hotly contested relays saw many changes on the score sheet.<br />
Each house was neck and neck with their participation points, however,<br />
sheer points for places meant the final competition went to Gold House<br />
