Athletics Carnival
We finally got some nice weather for our Athletics Carnival that was
postponed twice, after a very wet start to winter. And what a great day it
was! The carnival kicked off with all age levels competing in the 100m and
200m sprints, and then broke off into the various events. This saw students
rotating throughout the day within their age levels to each event.
It was fantastic to see all students participating and having fun. Many
records were broken, new PB's set, first experiences and great helpers were
students that received ribbons. Around 30 students were selected to
represent the school at the North District Athletics Carnival.
Also, a massive thank you to the parents and students that helped
throughout the day. Without them the carnival wouldn't have been the huge
success it was. House results were: Red - 694; Gold 945; Blue 1006.
