SECTION 4 -
CONTESTANTS
4.1 Each driver must possess a valid driver's license.
4.2 A driver may enter only once in any class.
4.3 . Ladies may run either in Ladies Class or Mens Class, but not both
in the same car.
4.4 A driver may change(substitute)cars during an event only once,
only in the event of a mechanical failure, only with the permission
of the Event Chairman.
In the event of a class and/or
car change any prior times recorded in another class are forfeited.
Class and/or car changes may not alter the make up of any established
class after the beginning of the first official timed run.
4.5 Passengers are allowed at the discretion of the Event Chairman.
4.6 Some form of eye 'protection 9glasses, windscreen, goggles, etc.)
is required for contestants in open cars.
4.7 Helmets will be required at all hillclimbs; this must be stated
in the Supplementary Rules for other events.
4.8 Contestants shall be disqualified by the Events Chairman for the
following reasons during an event:
a. Reckless or dangerous driving.
b. Unsportsman like conduct.
c. Drinking alcoholic beverages, or the use of narcotics.
d. Smoking while driving on course, or
e. Disregard of ofiicial's instructions.
4.9 A contestant may not receive a refund or entry fee after he has
received credit for one practice or official timed run.
