SECTION 4 -<br />
CONTESTANTS<br />
4.1 Each driver must possess a valid driver's license.<br />
4.2 A driver may enter only once in any class.<br />
4.3 . Ladies may run either in Ladies Class or Mens Class, but not both<br />
in the same car.<br />
4.4 A driver may change(substitute)cars during an event only once,<br />
only in the event of a mechanical failure, only with the permission<br />
of the Event Chairman.<br />
In the event of a class and/or<br />
car change any prior times recorded in another class are forfeited.<br />
Class and/or car changes may not alter the make up of any established<br />
class after the beginning of the first official timed run.<br />
4.5 Passengers are allowed at the discretion of the Event Chairman.<br />
4.6 Some form of eye 'protection 9glasses, windscreen, goggles, etc.)<br />
is required for contestants in open cars.<br />
4.7 Helmets will be required at all hillclimbs; this must be stated<br />
in the Supplementary Rules for other events.<br />
4.8 Contestants shall be disqualified by the Events Chairman for the<br />
following reasons during an event:<br />
a. Reckless or dangerous driving.<br />
b. Unsportsman like conduct.<br />
c. Drinking alcoholic beverages, or the use of narcotics.<br />
d. Smoking while driving on course, or<br />
e. Disregard of ofiicial's instructions.<br />
4.9 A contestant may not receive a refund or entry fee after he has<br />
received credit for one practice or official timed run.
