SECTION 5 -<br />
CARS<br />
5.1 All cars must pass a tecbnical ~nspection prior to competing. The entry<br />
fee shall be refunded if a car fails this inspection.<br />
5.2 A car may be barred from an event at any time by the Technical Inspector<br />
if it is judged to be in unsafe operating condition.<br />
5.3 Seat belts are required for all occupants of competing cars, properly<br />
mounted and securly fastened at all times while the car is on course.<br />
5.4 Windshields on open cars may be removed, provided that all projecting<br />
hardware is removed.<br />
SECTION 6 - CLASSIFICATION<br />
6.1 Classification of cars shall be according to current SCCA GCR standards.<br />
Other classifactions shall be at the discretion of the Events Chairman.<br />
6.2 A given car may be entered in only one class in any event. However, a<br />
car may be driven in both Mens and Ladies Class.<br />
6.~ Three cars constitute a class. If less than three, cars will be reclassified<br />
by the Event Chairman prior to the olose of registration. At the<br />
disc~etion of the Events Chairman two cars may constitute a class if no<br />
other equitable alternative exists.<br />
6.4 LADIES - shall be determined by the formula as follows: Scoring is based<br />
upon the individual Ladies best time minus the average of the best times<br />
of the comparable men"s class for the car which she is driving.<br />
Trophies are awarded on the basis of the lowest differenoe.<br />
