Information Services Librarian - Part time
Libraries - Informing Communities
This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialised team at Nelson
Public Libraries. The team takes pride in providing information
and research services to the Nelson community. It's a chance
to interact with customers and share new technology, publications
and resources.
The role also takes particular responsibility for interloans. This is
a professional library role but applications will also be considered
from those studying towards a degree or post graduate degree in
librarianship.
You will have the satisfaction of ensuring excellent customer
service to diverse customers and community groups. It's a chance
to answer questions, and help your community access information.
This is a part-time position, working on average 24 hours per
week, on weekdays and rostered weekends in the Elma Turner
Library in beautiful Nelson City.

Study Director - Part time (Fixed Term)
Wellington School of Medicine & Health Science
We are seeking a motivated and highly organised person for the
position of Study Director to oversee the operation and management
of a large cross-sectional study of the possible health effects
of chronic hydrogen sulphide exposure in Rotorua. The Study
Director will be based in Wellington but will need to travel to
Rotorua.
Duties will include the recruitment of an appropriate team to
carry out fieldwork in Rotorua, obtaining ethics committee approval
in NZ, facilitating the recruitment and processing of 1800
study participants over the 3 years of fieldwork, maintaining upto-date
study documentation, ensuring that the study costs are
within the budget and managing the compilation of a complete
and accurate study database, ready for analysis.
This is part time 0.5 FTE fixed term three-year position.
