The spacious, open master bedroom,
which is once again accessed by traveling
along a curved wall, is off the main living
area. Tucked behind a stone wall, it includes
large wooden doors that create privacy
if desired. The connected limestone
shower is ethereal, very translucent and
utilizes the signature travertine, reflecting
the outdoor feeling of the rest of the
house.
Downstairs is all for fun. A karaoke
stage provides hours of entertainment and
is something the Cink’s wanted rather
than a home theater.
Unique details in the terrace level include
a glass-embedded concrete bar with
a floating, wooden ceiling which helps to
define it and warms up the modern vibe a
bit. The wood is masculine and the modern
barstools creates fun place to sit and
relax, while watching players at the pool
table. Here you find a tall, stainless steel
fireplace. “At night it’s shiny and sexy,”
says Meder.
There is an additional seating space
with an 85” plasma television opposite
the karaoke stage as well as a cozy nook
tucked under the staircase. All this works
well when the Cinks’ entertain, as there
are different areas for people to comfortably
mingle in small groups, while still
being part of the crowd.
The terrace level is completed by a
home gym and Stewart’s private golf
room, which boasts a workspace for
club-fitting and storage, a putting green
and a trophy shelf. This is all tucked behind
closed doors, which requires moving
a ping pong table for access. His one trophy
on display in the home is the Open,
and you will need to search to find it. His
career could be one of banker, lawyer or
Indian chief. It’s safe to say that at home,
Cink does not place golf in the forefront
of life unless it is to help others.

Lake. It’s my favorite par 5. It’s got
everything. It’s a difficult hole but it
can reward you with birdies or eagle.
It’s got a great backdrop with
the beautiful clubhouse. It’s elevated
with a great view of the lake.
Yeah, the city of Atlanta is a great
place to live for a golfer.
