Umbria, located in central Italy between Tuscany and Marche, offers a timeless<br />
glimpse into what Italian life is all about: beautiful scenery, great food, incredible<br />
wines and wonderful friends. Four couples will spend a full week in this majestic<br />
part of the world with first class accommodations, dinners, lunches, wine and<br />
olive tastings, and tours of the area. A car service to Umbria and a rental car to<br />
use while you are there are also included for your convenience. Full concierge<br />

Four bedroom 17th century farmhouse and stable that has been carefully restored,<br />

Surrounded by beautiful countryside views, the common areas offer great spaces for<br />
gathering as a group or finding a quiet moment of solitude. The large open courtyard<br />
offers an exceptional space for dining al fresco with both the grill and wood-burning<br />
pizza oven conveniently positioned. This incredible setting includes a covered<br />
terrace, private swimming pool, and beautifully landscaped gardens with an herb<br />

Dina is a charming and talented local cook and Nona (grandmother) who will<br />
prepare an authentic Umbrian dinner at the villa; she will fire up the wood burning<br />
oven for pizza, make pasta from scratch, and lamb on the pit, and is as entertaining<br />
as she is talented.<br />
• Wine Tour with Stefano<br />
Stefano is the charming local driver who will deliver your rental car and will also be<br />
your driver for a full day wine tour.<br />
• Cooking Lesson at the Villa<br />
Umbria Cooks for You! Noni and Tita promise to provide you with an enriching<br />
experience into the culinary delights of Umbria. Cooking classes are hands on and<br />
include information on theory, history and how-to, with recipes to take home. A<br />
wonderful morning lesson for a late lunch or afternoon for dinner, 4-5 courses of<br />
Umbrian delights that you won’t want to miss in the luxury of your own villa.<br />
• Fratelli Pardi Linen Factory and Winery Visit for 8, Montefalco, Italy<br />
First a visit to the shop in Montefalco and then a tour and tasting lunch at the<br />
family owned Cantina. Family-owned for three generations this is a true taste of old<br />
country wine making and hospitality.<br />
• 3 Course Lunch with Wine and Olive Tasting for 8<br />
Enoteca Properizo is located in the charming village of Spello, Italy. Their wine cellar<br />
is considered unique in the area thanks to the wide range of Italian and international<br />
offerings. The result is a spot among the top 20 Italian wine retailers. The tasting<br />
lunch includes small courses of Umbrian delights paired with wines from the area<br />
and as well as other areas of Italy. This is a great opportunity to buy some wine for<br />
shipping to enjoy back home. Irene and Roberto provide a wonderful gastronomic<br />
experience.<br />
• Palazzone Wine Tour and Tasting for 8<br />
Palazzone fundamentally adheres to the traditions of winemaking in the Orvieto<br />
region. They use modern technology to enhance those traditions and are passionate<br />
about turning great grapes into great wine. Winemaker Giovanni will walk you<br />
through the cellar, cantina, and pour the wine for tasting. He has a great story and<br />
the setting is spectacular.<br />
