Located in Saint Helena, Macauley Vineyard is owned by Mac and Amy
Watson. Mac’s mother started Macauley and built her winery in the 1980’s.
Located in Saint Helena, the wines were overseen by winemaker Ric Forman.
A few years later, Mac’s mother passed away and the winery was sold, yet from
a young age Mac began to develop an interest in wine and collecting. As an
adult, wine became his passion, and he resurrected Macauley Vineyard in 2001.
Amy Watson is a native of Saint Helena who was raised in a winemaking family.
Her father first came to Napa Valley in 1969, and he and her brothers are also
vintners. Macauley Vineyard’s foundation is based on sourcing grapes from
the highest quality vineyards and utilizing the expertise of winemaker, Kirk
Venge. Some of the vineyards sourced include the famed Beckstoffer To Kalon,
Stagecoach, Dutton Ranch, and the historic Luvisi with vines currently in use
dating back to1904. This small production winery has been reviewed as one of
the top new tasting room experiences in Napa Valley and is distributed in the
area by McNeese Distributing.

A decade’s worth of domestic and international travel afforded Todd the
understanding that home is where we place our heart and passion. After many amazing
experiences worldwide, Todd made the decision that Napa Valley would own his love
of life, food and wine.
Having worked with alongside some of the best minds in the wine industry, Todd
Newman has been fortunate to hone his skills and understanding of the winemaking
process from the vineyards through the bottling of each vintage. With a tremendous
attention to detail, Todd thoughtfully chose what he considers to be the best sources
this great Valley has to offer.
