In 1973, Joe Phelps founded his namesake winery just outside of St. Helena in<br />
Napa Valley. Over forty years later, Joseph Phelps Vineyards invites you to join<br />
them in the celebration of the grand re-opening in their newly renovated winery,<br />
offering unparalleled visitor experiences paired with stunning vineyard views.<br />
The successful bidder on this lot, along with seven guests, will be hosted by<br />
Phelps family members or a member of our winemaking team for a behind the<br />
scenes tour of the historic Joseph Phelps winery followed by a multi-course<br />
dinner paired with rare library vintages celebrating the extraordinary forty-plusyears<br />
of Joseph Phelps winemaking history.<br />
The winning bidder will also fill their cellar with Joseph Phelps Napa Valley<br />
and Sonoma Coast wines from the highly-anticipated 2012 vintage. Enjoy first<br />
access to upcoming vintages of Insignia, Backus Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon<br />
and Larry Hyde & Sons Vineyard Syrah, along with new releases of Napa Valley<br />
Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noirs from the winery’s Sonoma Coast estate<br />
in Freestone, including limited production single-vineyard wines from both<br />
