On Santorini, legend is almost indistinguishable from reality. And there,
on the island reputed to have been the land of Atlantis, the five suites of the
Tsitouras Collection are perched on a thousand-foot cliff overlooking one of the
most spectacular views in the Mediterranean.
The mansion that forms the nucleus of the Tsitouras Collection was built in
1780. Over the centuries, it has served as a school, post office, and private home,
and is now an exclusive hotel. It was renovated in 1985 by the famous collector
Dimitris Tsitouras, who converted it into five units, each with a separate theme
and name, all demonstrating his personal style and respect for the Greek tradition
and the needs of modern travellers alike. Down the path is the Tsitouras
Collection Villa, for the ultimate private holiday, with a private pool and a
capacity of six persons. Built in 2001, the TC Villa is the last word in luxurious
comfort and equipment, in harmonious co-existence with unique art objects
dating to the 16th century.

Start off your adventure October 5-10, 2015, with a 4-hour tour of the
Santorini countryside and visit the most distinct wineries of the island. Taste
a selection of 12 different wine styles from Santorini and Greece. Winemaking
on Santorini dates back more than 4,000 years and the tour covers the most
distinct wineries of the island, starting at a vineyard on the volcanic soils. Stroll
through the unique basket vines, learning about the local viticulture that makes
vine-growing in Santorini respected worldwide for its distinctive means of
production. Learn the island’s history through its winemaking as you move
between 3 distinct wineries, all acclaimed by international experts. Taste the
major wine styles of Santorini such as Assyrtiko, Nykteri, Vinsanto accompanied
by local delicacies, including cheese, salami and olives. This tour also includes
an additional stop at the Yellow Donkey brewery and be introduced to the local
beer-making.
On another day, tour the island and venture around the ancient ruins of Akrotiri
on a walking tour. After the eruption of the volcano in the 17 century B.C.
the whole island, and Akrotiri as well, has been covered with volcanic material.
From a professional guide, hear tales of Akrotiri’s links to the mythical city of
Atlantis.
Finally, what better way to explore Santorini than from the water at sunset?
Sail the Caldera and visit the Hot Springs, see towering volcanic cliffs, swim,
snorkel, and enjoy delicious gourmet meals. Your 5-hour tour approximately 3.5
hours before sunset to ensure a great afternoon of swimming, snorkeling, dining
and an unforgettable sunset cruise. You will have the opportunity to visit the Hot
Springs, sail past the volcano, Venetian Light House, red and white beaches and
