Peel Elder Abuse Support Program:<br />

Offers telephone support to older adults or those out in the community who may be<br />

experiencing or suspect abuse. The service is provided 7 days a week from 12noon- 8:00pm by<br />

specially trained senior volunteers.<br />

The program also has a Program Facilitator that specializes in providing individualized support<br />

to those experiencing abuse.<br />

Public edu<strong>ca</strong>tion and elder abuse awareness.<br />

Mon-Sun 12 noon-8 pm<br />

Provides a wide range of support services for family members and <strong>ca</strong>regivers of someone with<br />

a mental illness.<br />

Services include:<br />

1-to-1 supportive counsellling<br />

Advo<strong>ca</strong>cy and support groups for families, youth, and spouses (<strong>ca</strong>ll for meeting times)<br />
