Governing Body' or 'the Members <strong>of</strong> the Governing Body who<br />
are not on leave <strong>of</strong> absence' wheresoever therein appearing,<br />
there appeared instead the words 'the Council'. There shall<br />
similarly devolve upon the Council the powers reserved to the<br />
Members <strong>of</strong> the Governing Body in residence by virtue <strong>of</strong><br />
Statute XXI (Of the Discipline and Good Government <strong>of</strong> the<br />
<strong>College</strong>), other than the power to remove from the <strong>College</strong> finally<br />
a member <strong>of</strong> the <strong>College</strong> in statu pupillari.<br />
6. At all meetings <strong>of</strong> the Council the Master, or in his or her<br />
absence the Vice-Master or in his or her absence the most<br />
senior Fellow present who is able and willing to act, shall<br />
preside. It shall be the duty <strong>of</strong> the Master to ensure that<br />
minutes are made <strong>of</strong> every meeting <strong>of</strong> the Council; the custody<br />
<strong>of</strong> the Minute Book shall be determined by the Master and it<br />
shall be accessible to members <strong>of</strong> the Governing Body at all<br />
reasonable times.<br />
7. The Governing Body may at a <strong>College</strong> meeting specially<br />
summoned for the purpose, by a vote in which not less than<br />
two-thirds <strong>of</strong> its whole number concur, excluding any Fellow on<br />
leave <strong>of</strong> absence, annul any resolution <strong>of</strong> the Council. The<br />
Governing Body may in like manner dissolve the Council and<br />
resume the powers delegated thereto by virtue <strong>of</strong> this Statute.<br />
