AT -Multi-Purge II ®

The AT -Multi Purge II ® is a high capacity, three
stage gas purifying module that removes all common
contaminates – moisture, hydrocarbons, and oxygen
– from GC gas streams. It combines three high capacity
traps (Hydro-Purge II ® , Hydrocarbon, and Oxy-Purge ® N)
to permit longer, maintenance-free operation.
The first stage of gas purification removes moisture
from the gas stream with the Alltech Hydro-Purge II ® .
It contains indicating molecular sieve that changes
from blue to tan when saturated. Stage two removes
hydrocarbon contamination from the gas stream
with the Alltech Hydrocarbon trap. The final stage of
purification removes oxygen from the gas stream with
the Oxy-Purge ® N oxygen trap.
An indicating Oxy-Trap can be added to the AT -
Multi-Purge II ® for maximum column protection. It will
monitor the performance of the oxygen trap and undergo
a color change from tan to dark brown when spent
indicating when the high capacity Oxy-Purge ® N requires
replacement. Order separately under “Accessories” below.
Each AT -Multi-Purge II ® is supplied with all internal
plumbing and installation and operating instructions.

and maintaining gas purifiers easier. Their wall mount
design conserves bench top space and allows you to
easily view the status of your gas system. Panels can be
used as individual stations or grouped together to form
a gas control center for the entire lab. Each panel is
ready to connect to 1/4" o.d. gas lines. Vespel ® reducing
ferrules allow connection to 1/8" lines.
Two types of panels are available. Type “A” includes
an Alltech Gas Purifier that removes moisture, oil, small
aliphatics, HCl, SO2, NO2, H2S, and CO2, and it measures
29" x 4-5/8" x 3" . Type “B” includes an Alltech Gas
Purifier and an Alltech Indicating Oxy-Trap that also
removes oxygen in addition to the other contaminants,
and measures 29" x 5-5/8" x 3". Both traps contain
indicating adsorbents that allow you to visually
determine when they require replacement.
