The Joint Plenary Panel discussion for <strong>POWER</strong>-<strong>GEN</strong> <strong>Europe</strong>, Renewable Energy World <strong>Europe</strong> and Nuclear Power <strong>Europe</strong> is the chance for industry<br />
practitioners to voice their views about current policies and the future direction of the power sector. With its provocative title, this debate will a spark<br />
wider discussion about the practical implications of Germany’s direction in power generation technology choices and whether these policies will be<br />
seen as a beacon for other <strong>Europe</strong>an countries or ultimately out-of-step.<br />

Stephen Sackur returns once again to moderate our Plenary Panel discussion having led the debate at our<br />
last two <strong>POWER</strong>-<strong>GEN</strong> <strong>Europe</strong> Plenary sessions. A popular performer, Stephen demonstrates a �rm grasp of<br />
the key issues and a willingness to press our panellists for straight answers.<br />
Stephen Sackur is identi�ed around the world as the presenter of HARDtalk, the �agship current a�airs<br />
interview programme aired on BBC World and the BBC News Channel. Known for his uncompromising<br />
