Language Arts Summer Reading<br />
7 th Grade Honors Summer Reading List<br />
Choose one novel from each list for a total of 2 novels read over the summer. You are allowed to bring in any<br />
student-created notes with you. Focus on the Literary Elements of a novel (plot, conflict, theme, etc.). You<br />
will be required to write a 3-5 paragraph essay in response to one novel, and the second novel will have an alternate<br />
assignment provided by the teacher for assessment. These assessments will take place during school<br />
hours within the first 2 weeks of the school year.<br />
