completion as per milestones. Provide specific construction work plan / method / strategy and
schedule to be employed with respect to the work. The project includes for furniture fit-out and other
interior works by a Client nominated contractor within the project master schedule. The construction
program should indicate stagewise handover of buildings for works by interior contractor Include
response to site parameters and proposed building design, if any. Provide sketch plan with respect
to construction site layout and details pertaining to deployment of machinery / equipment .

The bidder and all the identified sub-contractors should have established quality control (QC) or quality
assurance (QA) policies for the company (include the certified copies of the QC/QA policies along with
the bid). The bidder and all the identified sub-contractors should have established environment, health
and safety (EHS) policies; and should include in the bid the proposals for ensuring compliance to
environmental, health and safety concerns, and include details of deployment of qualified environmental
engineer(s) and safety engineer(s).
4.4 ‘Bids from Joint ventures are not acceptable’.
4.5 A. To qualify for award of the contract, each bidder in its name should have in the last five years i.e.
2008-09 to 2012-13
(a)
achieved, in at least two financial year, a minimum annual financial turnover (in all classes of civil
engineering construction works only) of Rs.60 Crores
b) satisfactorily completed (not less than 90% of contract value), as a prime contractor, (or as subcontractor
duly certified by the employer/main contractor) at least one similar work of value not less than
Rs.24Crores;
NOTE: Similar works means any work satisfying all of the following:
(i) work of development of buildings and facilities with built-up area not less than
7000 square meter including site development for a site of 2.0 acres or more; or if
a part of larger campus development, work of development of buildings and
facilities with built-up area not less than 7000 square meter including site
development for a site of 2.0 acres or more.
(ii)

work is for the purpose of and use as a) a research facility or laboratory, or b) a
premier educational institution offering graduate and post-graduate degrees
recognized by relevant national regulators, or c) a corporate office of a company
listed with the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd, or the Bombay Stock
Exchange Ltd.
the buildings included in work should include at least two of the following four
elements: a) laboratories, b) offices, c) large classrooms with minimum seating of
45, and d) convention or auditorium facility for 200 persons.
(iv) the scope of works completed by the bidder should include all of the following: a)
site works including internal roads, paving, and water storage tanks, b) reinforced
cement concrete frame structure with areas having exposed concrete finish, c)
concrete block work walls with plastering, and d) floor and wall finishes which
include stone, IPS, tile flooring and paint finishes.
(c)
executed in any one year, the following minimum quantities of work:
- Reinforced Cement Concrete (all grades) 9000 cum
- Brick Work / Concrete Block works 25000 sq.m.
(d)
ELECTRICAL SUB-CONTRACTOR. The bidder or his identified sub-contractor should be a Class-1 or
’A’ Electrical contractor and should possess required valid license from the Public Health Department of
the.Government of Tamil Nadu or any appropriate authority of other State/Union of India for executing
