Explore Kejimkujik National Park
If you ask a local where to go to get away from it all you will likely be told, “Go to
Keji” — explore the best of Nova Scotia’s rugged beauty, see a wide range of wildlife,
canoe, kayak, hike or camp. There are guided hikes to Native petroglyphs, and
herbal plant walks. Or take your bikes to explore the woodland trails by yourselves.
There are many campsites, including the new Otentik site at Jacob’s Landing. The
park is divided into two distinct areas. The main park is located 18 km (11 miles)
from the village of Caledonia on Highway 8, and there is Kejimkujik Seaside Adjunct,
which lies approximately 100 km (62 miles) southeast of the main park, along the
coast near Port Joli. Both offer unparralled natural beauty.
