Mahone Bay has a vibrant arts community and is home to many different types of<br />

artists including, quilters, weavers, rug-hookers, felters, painters, printmakers,<br />

potters, jewellers, sculptors and wood carvers. Many of our artists sell their work<br />

internationally and open their studios during the summer months.<br />

5. Enjoy Live Music<br />

Gather with friends and family to enjoy an evening of music in our famous three<br />

churches. The Mahone Bay Summer Concerts are held on select Friday evenings at<br />

8 pm in three churches: St. John’s Lutheran Church, St. James Anglican Church, and<br />

Trinity United Church. Concert dates are: July 3, July 17, August 7 and August 21.<br />

Tickets can be purchased at the door or at Kinburn Pharmasave.<br />

Enjoy the smooth sounds of the Mahone Bay Legion Swing Band at the Summer<br />

Bandstand Concerts held every Thursday evening in July and August at the<br />
