Nozzle Bodies/Nozzle Assemblies, 1/2J Series Air Atomizing Nozzles Features and Benefits • JBC features the center lines of the air and liquid inlet entering in the back of the nozzle and parallel to the spray projection axis. • 1/2JBCJ features a steam jacket around the nozzle body for spraying liquids that are too viscous to spray at room temperature. • 2J is a dual spray assembly with opposing spray set-ups perpendicular to opposing air and liquid inlets. • Thick wall adapters replace retainer rings on nozzle assemblies and fit into threaded wall openings holding the nozzle securely in place. Pressure Spray Set-ups, Internal Mix, 1/2J Series Air Caps Features and Benefits • For wide angle round, round, 360° circular and flat sprays, dimensions “A”, “B” and “C” are the pattern widths at distances from the nozzle. • The total distance of spray projection from the nozzle to the maximum dispersal point is represented by “D”. • When using a pressure-fed liquid system, the liquid is supplied to the nozzle under pressure. • The liquid and compressed air or gas are mixed internally to produce a completely atomized spray. Wide angle round, round, flat and 360° circular spray air caps produce wide angle round hollow cone spray, round hollow cone spray, flat spray and 360° circular spray patterns. Performance Data D 8491 gasket must be ordered separately from the spray set-up, but is included in the standard nozzle assembly. Please contact your sales engineer.
