OBJECTION: Lord Krsna also tells Arjuna:<br />
sreyan sva-dharmo vigunah<br />
para-dharmat sv-anusthitat<br />
sva-dharme nidhanaa sreyah<br />
para-dharmo bhayavahah<br />
"It is far better to discharge one's prescribed duties, even though faultily, than another's<br />
duties perfectly. Destruction in the course of performing one's own duty is better than<br />
engaging in another's duties, for to follow another's path is dangerous." (Bhagavad-gita<br />
3.35)<br />
In light of this, why do you not accept your karma and remain in the position that you were<br />
born in, rather than pretend to be brahmanas and attempt to follow brahminical codes?<br />
REFUTATION: From this argument it seems that our opponents are requesting us to follow nagnamatrka-nyaya.<br />
When the mother was a child she was naked, therefore she should always remain naked.<br />
In other words, because some Vaisnavas were born in low-class families, they should remain low-class.<br />
