<strong>Action</strong> 4.3 Use a Partnership Approach to <strong>the</strong> <strong>Management</strong> of Change<br />

A central focus of partnership <strong>for</strong> <strong>the</strong> future will be to explore ways of achiev<strong>in</strong>g organisational change and new, more flexible <strong>for</strong>ms of work organisation. Key<br />

projects should be driven by <strong>the</strong> needs of Quality and Fairness and should <strong>in</strong>clude new systems of work and new roles and responsibilities <strong>for</strong> health service staff<br />

and managers. All stakeholders will need to be visibly supported <strong>in</strong> adjust<strong>in</strong>g to <strong>the</strong>ir new roles and responsibilities. It is essential that due process is upheld and<br />

adhered to by all parties, where necessary, <strong>in</strong> address<strong>in</strong>g any <strong>in</strong>dustrial relations issues that may arise from projects.<br />
