IPO: Task List<br />

IPOs in China perform several tasks and are responsible for most operational<br />

issues at location. Taking care of everything related to suppliers is key (Figure 50).<br />

IPOs concentrate on various tasks such as supplier development / search / negotiation<br />

/ management but also quality and cost control. In general it can be said<br />

that tasks to be carried out by local IPOs are very much focused on managing the<br />

operations in China in all aspects.<br />
