The 'Best Laidj^lans
Strategy was the name of the game for visitors to the 70th
National FFA Convention. With nine convention sessions,
three dances, 338 exhibitors at the FFA National Agricul-
tural Career Show, 32 educational tours, 21 workshops and
five keynote speakers all on offer — and only four days to
take it all in — it was a challenge to find enough hours in
the day to see everything. Many were not surprised to find
themselves happily sleep-deprived.
The future is a happy prospect for these two
delegates from Hawaii, Helena Al-lhubaisi
and Filamer Gamr. Their smiles are as
welcoming to members as their state's sign.

But for those who were in KC participating m career
development events, strategy took on a whole new mean-
ing. Fhe best teams and individuals from across the country
came to compete for top honors in dozens of events, and
practice, timing and planning were essential to developing a
winning style.
For other convention visitors, keynote speakers and
award winners offered words of encouragement that
inspired listeners to draft plans for action.
