1 st Talent Draft<br />
Initiative<br />
IAS YEAR BOOK 2007<br />
The first Talent Draft Initiative was launched by Mr Sorab Mistry, the<br />
Chairman <strong>of</strong> the Initiative Committee on March 21st 2007 at the<br />
<strong>Singapore</strong> Management University (SMU). It was attended by 133<br />
students, the first selection test was held again at SMU on April 17th 2007 where a total <strong>of</strong> 89 students took the test.<br />
The final selection test was held at the National University <strong>of</strong> <strong>Singapore</strong><br />
(NUS) on May 11th & 12th 2007. This 24-hour stint <strong>of</strong> working with team<br />
members gave finalist a taste <strong>of</strong> life in the <strong>Advertising</strong> and Marketing<br />
Industry. Mentors and judges observed each team’s ability to work<br />
together before selecting 24 candidates for the sponsored jobs<br />
commencing in July 2007.<br />
