Due to the positive feedback and<br />
success of this project, Barangay Job<br />
Fair has been institutionalized and<br />
included as a regular service of the<br />
department. Thus, an annual regular<br />
budget has been allocated and the same<br />
is included performance target of the<br />
<strong>PESO</strong>.<br />
For us to achieve our goals and<br />
objectives, the following were some of<br />
the strategies that became the key of<br />
our success:<br />

The conduct of Jobs Fair in the<br />
Barangay on Saturdays,<br />
alternating north and south<br />
district.<br />
Choose venue that is accessible<br />
to many, e.g. community centers,<br />
barangay hall, schools, etc. (For<br />
community people, the venue<br />
and ambiance is not intimidating<br />
compared to the corporate offices<br />
so they are more comfortable<br />
with such arrangement.)<br />
Include employers located at the<br />
same barangay where job fair is<br />
conducted (where possible).<br />
