FlowSense’s product, URINFO 2000, enables physicians to optimize fluid management and
acute renal care by automating the monitoring of urine output accurately, continuously,
and in real-time.

URINFO 2000 offers automated urine output monitoring for patients in the acute care
setting. Today, there is no effective means by which this important marker can be measured
and captured reliably, continuously, and in real-time. Urine output, today, is measured
with mechanical urine meters which are labor intensive, based on manual volume
readings, and do not provide current urine output data. URINFO 2000, enables physicians
to optimize fluid management and acute renal care by automating the monitoring of
urine output accurately in real-time, continuously. Automated monitoring can result in
earlier detection, more rapid intervention, and improved patient outcomes and reduced
hospital costs. URINFO 2000 is comprised of a small electronic unit (display and cradle
for disposable) installed on the bed and a disposable that connects to any catheter and is
proprietary to the URINFO system. The product is in daily use in several hospitals.
