Company at a Glance
Medigus is a medical device company specializes in developing innovative endoscopic
procedures and devices.
Medigus is a pioneer developer of the SRS - a unique proprietary endoscopic device
for the treatment of GERD, one of the most common chronic diseases in the western
world. In addition, Medigus developed a line of miniatuearlysere video cameras, including
models that are the smallest in the world.
Based on its proprietary technologies, Medigus designs and manufactures endoscopy
systems, for partner companies, including major players in the medical device industry as
well as promising start-ups. Medigus advanced technology platform includes all necessary
elements for performing a wide range of endoscopic procedures. The platform includes
various types of rigid, semi-flexible and flexible video endoscopes, as well as respective
endoscopy suites.
From Concept-to-Product, we leverage our existing technological building blocks and
combine the exceptional capabilities of our top medical and engineering experts to
develop full-fledged medical devices at the highest standards, with exceptional efficiency
and at the lowest prices.
Medigus was established in 2000 and is a public company traded in the Tel-Aviv stock
exchange since 2006.
Technology & Product(s)
1. Medigus developed an entire endoscopic system for intraluminal treatment of Reflux
Disease (GERD). The innovative system performs an anterior fundoplication in lieu of
the current surgical procedure without opening the abdominal cavity. The SRS combines
a surgical stapler, ultrasonic sights for accurate positioning and a miniaturized video
camera – all are Medigus proprietary technologies. The system contains all the requisite
tools to complete the entire procedure and is controlled by a single physician.
The system has a CE mark and successfully completed an international large-scale
multi-center clinical trial.
2. Medigus offers the world’s smallest video cameras. We offer a high performance, low
cost, revolutionary CMOS camera, with an outer diameter of only 1.2mm – the smallest
video camera in the world. The camera offers superb sensitivity, resolution and dynamic
sensitivity. In small quantities Medigus provides a multi-use version of the camera, while
in large quantities a single-use version is provided. The disposable camera eliminates
the need for the costly sterilization. The camera is designed for endoscopes and in
diagnostic and surgical medical procedures.
We also offer multi-use 3.0x3.0mm and 1.8x1.8mm CCD cameras.
Goal
Objectives: 1. We seek distributors for the SRS endoscopic treatment of GERD. 2. We
seek partners interested in developing mini-video-endoscopes based on our proprietary
smallest video camera in the world for various medical applications.
Target Businesses: 1. Distributors with proven experience in the endoscopic surgery field
(i.e., bariatric, minimal-invasive, NOTES) and innovative medical devices. 2. Companies
developing mini-endoscopes for medical applications.
