IceCure Medical Introduces IceSense3: a minimally invasive, office-based, Cryoablation
treatment of breast Fibroadenoma. Clinical studies have shown Cryoablation to be a safe
and effective alternative to surgery for treatment of breast Fibroadenoma. Based on these
studies, a reimbursement code has been defined for in-office procedures (CPT 19105),
and the American Society of Breast Surgeons (ASBS) has issued a consensus statement
about the product’s safety, efficacy and durability.
IceSense3 is approved for sale in the US and Europe.

IceSense3 unique technology uses liquid nitrogen for rapid freezing of the lesion. The
system, with its intuitive graphical user interface is designed for maximum flexibility and
simplicity for a single operator. IceSense3 is compatible with the latest advancements
in ultrasound-guided interventions, such as 3D navigation, for a faster and more accurate
procedure.
IceSense3 is the natural choice for patients and physicians:
• Excellent cosmetic results - Regardless of fibroadenoma size, the probe is inserted
through a 3 mm incision, causing virtually no scar. No tissue is physically removed,
hence there is no deformation of the breast, and there is no impact on the shape or
appearance of the breast.
• Quick Procedure - With the IceSense3 rapid cooling technology, treatment takes as
little as 5-15 minutes (depending on the size of the treated area), saving precious time.
• No pain - The freezing has an analgesic effect, so the patient hardly feels anything
during treatment. Local anesthesia is used for the insertion of the probe, much like a
biopsy procedure.
• No Downtime - The patient can return to normal activities immediately after the procedure.
