academic settings including 5 days protected)
• Role of practice assessor (previously called observer)
• Experienced, enhanced role in passing practice element ) results in technical fail if
not passed before final deadline) ? LL support?
• Evidence of meeting stage 2 of framework (Pass/refer)
and for midwives SOM criteria.
Revision of assessment - to move from teaching session
to facilitating learning and recognition of practice learning
